Jews who Survived Auschwitz and Majdanek are being Killed - Secret Letter Revealing the Bitter Fate of the Survivors in Poland - Classified document: 'Absolutely internal!' from 'Alliance of  European  Immigrants' who publicized a secret letter which came to them, written in Krakow by a member of HaShomer HaTzair on 13/8/1945 with his eyewitness account of harsh pogroms, massacres and persecution by the Poles against the Jewish survivors at the end of WII. We are living on a volcano, every day, victims fall.  Polish Jewry is experiencing a wave of massacres and pogroms.  'The Caesar has left and the generals remain,' the generals are carrying out their ”holy” service even better than Caesar himself.  Jews are being killed, survivors of Auschwitz and Majdanek. Synagogues and Torah scrolls are being burned and desecrated. Killings in the train, on the road, at home and in the street, burning, shooting, beating, strangling - and our hands are weak ... in Krakow, there was an open pogrom. There are dead and wounded ... during the events in Krakow, Jews were taken out of the city and we do not yet know their fate ...'  The writer holds Jewish organizations accountable as well, the Central Committee, the Bund and Zionist activists who turned their backs on the survivors  'The day will come when we are in the redeemed Land, and we will judge them.'  The writer concludes: 'There is no country where the Jews' situation is worse than in Poland, so assist Jews from Poland as much as possible' and he signs 'in the name of the Jewish Youth Committee in Krakow.'
