Chazon Ovadia – Investigations, Notes, and Insights on the Laws of the Pesach Seder. By Rabbi Ovadia Yosef. Jerusalem, 1952. First Edition.
One of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef's earliest works, which significantly contributed to his renown. The book received approbations from the two Chief Rabbis, Rabbi Uziel and Rabbi Herzog, as well as Rabbi Attiya. It includes an exceptionally long approbation from Rabbi Tzvi Pesach Frank, as well as approbations from Rabbi Zelig Reuven Bengis and others. The book earned the author awards and brought him widespread recognition.
On the front endpaper, there is a handwritten and signed dedication by Rabbi Ovadia Yosef. The dedication is uniquely addressed to Rabbi David HaLevi Ungerais.
Rabbi Ovadia Yosef (1920–2013), Chief Rabbi of Israel – Rishon LeZion, spiritual leader, and president of the Council of Torah Sages of the Shas Party, was the leading Sephardic rabbi of his generation, known as the Posek HaDor. His era was regarded as the golden age of Sephardic Jewry in Israel.
Condition: Very good, aside from minor signs of dry fungus on the first few pages. Original binding.
