A brass tray inscribed with verses of protection, blessing, and success. Egypt, 1933 - A handmade brass tray crafted by the artist Chaim Cohen Tzaban. Features fine engraving work, with a Star of David at the center inscribed with ”Zion.” Around it is written: ”El Barat Elia, trust in the One and do not fear, and he who trusts in the Lord, kindness will surround him, 1933.” The outer circle is inscribed with blessing verses: ”May God give you of the dew of the heavens and the fatness of the earth and abundance of grain and wine. Ben Porat Yosef, Ben Porat Alei Ayin.” along with the artist’s name engraved within a heart-shaped frame. Diameter: 35 cm. Very good condition.
