"Doomed to Be Killed" - A historical handwritten manuscript by Rabbi Amram Blau, leader of Neturei Karta

Handwritten manuscript [five pages], containing Torah thoughts and polemics against secular individuals. Authored by the staunch defender of the faith, Rabbi Amram Blau, founder and leader of Neturei Karta. No place or date of writing indicated. Unpublished.

In this manuscript, Rabbi Amram Blau lays out his uncompromising ideological stance. He demonstrates from the Torah, the Talmud, and rabbinic authorities that secular individuals, in his view, are worse than idol worshipers and are deserving of the death penalty.
The manuscript is undated but was written on the blank reverse side of stationery from a French agency named A.R.C.I., based in Paris. This stationery is likely connected to the clandestine activities of his wife, Ruth, whose life centered in France. Based on this, the manuscript likely dates to after 1960 (5720).
Rabbi Amram Blau (1900–1974), leader and founder of Neturei Karta, was renowned for his zealous opposition to Zionism and the State of Israel. In 1938, he published a manifesto under the name "Neturei Karta, " which became synonymous with him and his followers. He frequently organized demonstrations against Shabbat desecration, immorality, and other issues, often resulting in his arrest or being assaulted. During one of his imprisonments for protesting Shabbat desecration, the Chazon Ish visited him in jail—a remarkable act, especially given the ideological differences between them. The Chazon Ish explained: "I am visiting Shabbat itself, which is sitting in prison!"

[5] Pages, 21X27 cm. Autograph, with edits and corrections. Entirely handwritten by Rabbi Amram Blau.
Condition: Good. Time stains and creases.
