It is well known that whenever the Shach writes in his works ”I have elaborated in my book”, he is referring to this very book, which is printed here for the first time. Includes glosses titled ”Minchat Aharon”, written by his grandson. Decorated with important rabbinic approbations. In several places, owner’s signatures appear: ”The humble Avraham son of Rabbi Chaim, from Biezun” (Biezun is a town in central Poland). He was likely one of the signatories of the famous proclamation opposing the purchase of rabbinical positions with money, which was signed by Rabbi Avnei Nezer, the Rebbes of Gur and Alexander, and printed at the end of Shu”t Avnei Nezer. ”Granted to me by Hashem, this holy book, Yaakov Binyamin son of the Gaon Av Beit Din, the righteous and true tzaddik, Rabbi Natan Neta, Av Beit Din of Lutimarsk”.
