Yitav Lev, Chassidic insights on the Torah. Two parts. First Edition. Sighet, 1875.

The renowned work of one of the greatest Admorim of Hungary, Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda Teitelbaum, the first Admor of Sighet and founder of the Satmar dynasty, known as the "Baal Yitav Lev", named after this very book.

The book was published during the author's lifetime, without mentioning his name. However, his name is alluded to in the title "Yitav, " an acronym for Yekutiel Yehuda Teitelbaum.

The Author:
Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda Teitelbaum (1808–1883), was one of the greatest Chassidic leaders in Hungary, Rabbi of Sighet, and the first Admor of the Sighet dynasty. He was raised under the guidance of his grandfather, Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum of Ujhel, author of "Yismach Moshe". The Yitav Lev is regarded as the patriarch of the Sighet-Satmar dynasties, two of the most prestigious and widespread Chassidic movements in Hungary. He was known as a miracle worker, and thousands of Chassidim flocked to him. His distinguished son-in-law was Rabbi Baruch of Gorlice, son of Rabbi Chaim Halberstam of Sanz, author of "Divrei Chaim".
