On the title page: ”Printed a second time with many additions to each halacha.” The author of Chayei Adam passed away in 1821, leaving behind corrections and additions in manuscript form for this work. On leaf 2, there is a sales contract from the sons of the Chayei Adam, where they write about their father’s will: ”He commanded before his passing that none of his works should be printed except with the additional glosses that were edited in his own handwriting in the margins of his compositions.” See: Stefansky, Sifrei Yesod 204.
