Knesset HaGedolah, Choshen Mishpat, by Rabbi Chaim Benveniste. Fürth, 1692. - This is the first edition (Mahadura Kama) covering Simanim 1-156. Knesset HaGedolah is one of the most significant halachic works of the later Poskim. The Chida wrote about the author: ”This esteemed rabbi illuminates the eyes of the exiles through his books, Knesset HaGedolah, which were printed in eight parts. Without him, no halachic authority proficient in the ways of ruling would dare to issue a decision. He, who feared issuing halachic rulings, would rush to the Beit Knesset (synagogue) to see what was in his words and what his wisdom signaled. Only after leaving the Beit Knesset with a settled mind would he issue a ruling.” 156 leaves. 30.5 cm. Condition: Moderate.
