Complete Copy. - The book features illustrated title pages adorned with depictions of Aharon HaKohen and priestly symbols, alluding to the author's name. Rabbi Aharon HaKohen Perachia belonged to a distinguished rabbinic and priestly lineage and served as Rabbi of Salonika from 1689 (5449) until his passing in 1697 (5457). The title pages of both parts of this work are regarded as among the most beautiful in the history of printed Hebrew books and have drawn the attention of many scholars. Title Page Artwork: At the top—the Ark of the Covenant. On the sides—figures of Kohanim in full priestly garments. At the bottom—hands raised in the Priestly Blessing, alongside an illustration of a Kohen washing his hands. Between these two lower illustrations—an image of the author holding the Tablets of the Law and facing the sea, symbolizing the port city of Salonika, where he served as Rabbi.
