”Chumashim for Boys” – Klausenburg, 5686 [1926] – Approvals from Admorim - A collection of over fifty booklets titled ”Chumashim for Boys”, featuring the weekly Torah portions, with Targum Onkelos, Rashi’s commentary, and the Haftarot. Published in Klausenburg, 5686 [1926]. These booklets were designed specifically for young students, with one booklet per weekly Torah portion, a novel educational initiative at the time. They were printed and distributed in thousands of copies throughout the region (Y.Y. Cohen, Chachmei Transylvania, pp. 115-116). However, today they are extremely rare. On the back cover of each booklet, the approbations of leading Admorim are printed, including: Rabbi Yisrael Hager of Vizhnitz Rabbi Yechezkel Panet of Déés Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar (who was then residing in Carei) Additionally, the prohibition against unauthorized reproduction (issur hasagat gevul) is printed. 55 booklets, covering the Torah portions of Noach, Kedoshim, Naso, Shelach, Chukat, and Shoftim. Each portion appears in multiple copies. Condition: Generally good. Stains on the edges, rust stains on some staples.
