Title Page Text: ”According to the customs of the Italian communities, as our forefathers have prayed since ancient times in the regions of Rome and Italy... They found refuge in Salonica... and until today we hold firmly to our ancestral tradition, praying according to this ancient rite.” The first title pages for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are in Ladino, and additional title pages appear before Shacharit of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
