The majority of the book follows the path of Kabbalah. With an interesting introduction by the author. The title page is decorated with woodcut engravings depicting Moses and Aaron, alongside geometric depictions of the zodiac signs. The author, Rabbi Moshe Ashkenazi (Rabbi Moshe ben Yisrael of Lantsburg, 1694–1739), wrote the books ”Itur Soferim – Asirit HaEifah” (Hamburg, 1721) and ”Shomer Emunim” (Offenbach, 1724). The title page describes him as ”The complete sage, master of all gematria and notarikon.” He was the son-in-law of Rabbi Muna, Av Beit Din and Rosh Yeshiva of Swarzędz (Swarzenz). This is the only edition ever printed. Only facsimile editions are known to exist. 42 leaves. 20 cm. Good condition. Stains.
