Printed in Lviv (Lemberg) between 1805–1811, this impressive set includes: Targum, Masorah Gedolah and Ketanah, and commentaries of Rashi, Radak, Alshich, Metzudat David, and Metzudat Tzion. Rabbi Akiva [Akiva] Schlesinger was known as a fierce defender of Torah tradition in Hungary. Already by age 25, he published his groundbreaking work Lev HaIvri, which caused a great stir in rabbinic circles.
