An important copy, bearing the sacred handwritten signature of the righteous Admor Rabbi Leibush of Pshevorsk, the only son of the founder of the Pshevorsk dynasty, the holy Admor Rabbi Yaakov of Pshevorsk, of blessed memory. The signature was written during the period when Rabbi Leibush resided in Paris. This siddur is exceedingly rare and of extraordinary historical significance, directly tied to the origins and heritage of the esteemed Pshevorsk dynasty. The esteemed Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Chaim Leibush Leiser, shlit”a, the current Admor of Pshevorsk, was born in the city of Pshevorsk (then in Galicia) to Rabbi Yaakov Leiser, later the second Admor of Pshevorsk, and to his mother, the daughter of the revered Rabbi Moshe Yitzchak Gvirtzman, the first Admor of Pshevorsk. During the horrors of World War II, he was exiled to Siberia. After the war, he returned with his family to Krakow. In Kislev 5709 (1948), he moved with his parents to Paris, France. In Adar I 5717 (1957), his grandfather, the holy Rabbi Itzikel of Pshevorsk, settled in Antwerp, Belgium. In 5718 (1958), Rabbi Leibush married Rebbetzin Malka Mindel Chana, daughter of Rabbi Alter Yaakov Yitzchak Wagschal, Admor of Lantzhut. He then lived in Williamsburg, where he formed deep bonds with the great tzaddikim of the generation—such as the Admor of Klausenburg, the Admor Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar, and the Admor Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Twersky of Skver. He later returned to reside alongside his father in Antwerp, and following his father's passing on the 27th of Cheshvan 5759 (1998), he was appointed as his successor. Unlike his predecessors, the Admor is known for his meticulous adherence to praying at the designated halachic times, even on Shabbat and festivals. He reduced the custom of holding a Friday night tish to once a month, and moved the traditional distribution of garlic from Motzaei Shabbat to Sunday evening. He also serves as President of Kollel Chibat Yerushalayim – Tzedakat Rabbi Meir Ba’al HaNes in Europe. The Admor shlit”a is revered by thousands of followers and admirers across the globe, and his name is renowned as a pure and righteous tzaddik, a wonder-worker and a source of salvation to all who seek his blessing. 175 pages. 14 cm.
