The Five Books of the Torah with Targum Onkelos, commentary by Rashi, commentary by the Ramban, and commentary by Rabbi Yitzchak Abohav on the Ramban. Includes the Five Megillot with Targum and Rashi’s commentary. Venice, Daniel Bomberg Press, 1548. The Targum Onkelos is printed with cantillation marks. A large-format, thick-volume Chumash. This is the first edition in which Rabbi Yitzchak Abohav’s commentary was printed together with the Chumash and the Ramban’s commentary (his commentary was first printed separately in 1525). A. M. Habermann, HaMadpis Daniel Bomberg, no. 211. There he notes that the Chumash and the Haftarot were printed separately and sold independently. Title page completed in artistic facsimile. Leaves 1–343, [344 – blank]; 345–381, [1] leaf. The final leaf of the Megillot (end of Megillat Esther) was taken from a similar edition printed in Venice in 1568. Without the Haftarot section. 29.5 cm. Bound with: Haftarot according to the custom of Ashkenazim, Sephardim, and Italians, with commentary by Rabbi David Kimchi – the Radak. Basel, 1606. Blessings of the Haftarah appear behind the title page. 40 leaves, lacking the final 2 leaves. 29.5 cm. Condition: Good. Some pasting and reinforcement. Minor tears with slight loss. Some aging stains. Trimmed margins on some leaves. Old binding.
