Printed by the holy brothers, Rabbi Chanina Lipa and Rabbi Yehoshua Heschel Shapira, grandsons of the Rav of Slavuta. Zhitomir, 1853. Hebrew and Yiddish-Deitsch. The last leaf is lacking. A large prayer book [over 300 pages] containing many prayers for livelihood, healing, children, and more. Each prayer is accompanied by instructions in Yiddish indicating its purpose and the appropriate location to recite it [at the graves of tzaddikim, parents, siblings, children, spouse, etc.]. The top portion of the pages contains the prayer text in the Holy Tongue, and the bottom portion includes the Yiddish translation. The instructions are also in Yiddish. 106 leaves. 16.5 cm. Blue paper. Good condition. Ownership signature. Aging stains. Several detached leaves. Tears and repairs to individual leaves, affecting some text.
