Baraita DeMelechet HaMishkan; with Correction in the Author’s Handwriting - Sefer Baraita DeMelechet HaMishkan and Baraita of Masechet Middot, with commentary by Maran Sar HaTorah, the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky. Bnei Brak, 1961. First edition. With a handwritten emendation by the author. Maran HaGaon Rabbi Shmaryahu Yosef Chaim Kanievsky [1928–2022] was considered the Gadol HaDor and spiritual leader of the global Lithuanian Torah community. He was likely the last leader to unite the Torah world under his authority. Each year, he completed the entirety of Torah: daily learning eight pages of Talmud Bavli along with the parallel passages in the Talmud Yerushalmi, and progressing through the Tur and Shulchan Aruch at a pace of about five pages per day. Renowned as a master of wonders and miracles, thousands would line up daily outside his home on Rashbam Street for a single word of blessing—“Be’ezrat Hashem”—which many believed carried immense spiritual power, due to his unmatched diligence in Torah. Very good condition.
