Tikkun Shovavim. Mantua, 1729 [5489]. With handwritten addition - Order of the Tikkun Shovavim, established by the Ramaz – Rabbi Moshe Zacuto. Also includes: Tikkun for Erev Rosh Chodesh that falls during the Shovavim weeks, Hatarat Nedarim (annulment of vows), and Tikkun Chatzot for the period of Bein HaMetzarim. These prayers were customarily recited regularly by a group in the community of Ferrara starting in the year 1719 (5479). Printed in Mantua, 1729 (5489). Includes handwritten addition. A rare Tikkun Shovavim according to the custom of Mantua, accompanied by additional Kabbalistic prayers. On the final leaf, a handwritten elegy titled “Kol Tza’akat Ro’im” by Rabbi David Finzi, known as the father-in-law of the Ramchal (Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzatto). This elegy was first printed in 1740 (5500) and here appears in period Italian script. Collation: 44 leaves. 17 cm. Condition: Good to very good. Some age stains. Bound in antique leather binding.
