Chaim Ozer Grodzinski extols him in exceptional terms: “The honor and glory of the rabbi… his splendor for greatness… a new vessel filled with old wine, destined for greatness… I rejoiced greatly to see that Israel is not bereft; in our own days, young in years, great in Torah, producing profound innovations. I marveled at his ability to arrange them while still so young, and to bring them to light. Fortunate is she who bore him!” Further approbations include those of R. Avraham Dov Ber Kahana Shapira, Av Beit Din of Kovno, and R. Avraham Yitzchak HaKohen Kook, Chief Rabbi of Eretz Israel. These approbations were omitted from later editions. R.
