In the part before us, the author refers to the Netziv’s approbation. Among the list of prenumeranten, the name of Rabbi Zvi Yehuda Berlin – the Netziv – also appears Rabbi Naftali Zvi Yehuda Berlin – the Netziv of Volozhin ztz”l (1817–1893), Rosh Yeshiva of Volozhin for fifty years, raised thousands of students.
