The youngest son of the Imrei Emes, he was renowned for his vast scholarship. He was called the Pnei Menachem after his sefer. He lived simply, residing all his life in a modest three-room apartment. His prayers were lengthy, accompanied by animated movements of fervor. He passed away suddenly after a festive meal on Shushan Purim 1996, during which he had hinted publicly at his imminent passing. He was buried in the courtyard of the Sfas Emes Yeshiva in the Machane Yehuda neighborhood of Jerusalem, beside his father, the Imrei Emes. Very good condition. Original binding.
