Machzor Mo'adei Hashem – Tefillat Arvit and the Haggadah Shel Pesach according to the custom of the Sephardic community. Corfu, printed by Yosef Nahmuli. 1877. Exceptionally rare - Includes the Arvit (evening prayer) service and the Haggadah Shel Pesach, with Ashkenazic-style piyutim at the end of the Haggadah. Very few Hebrew books were printed on the island of Corfu by the printer Nahmuli, many of which were issued in extremely limited numbers. It is likely that the present Haggadah with Arvit is a section from a year-round Machzor whose printing was never completed. In the same year, a similar Haggadah was printed in Corfu under the title Arvit VeHaggadah Shel Pesach, but in the present copy, the title page reads: Machzor Mo'adei Hashem… Chag HaMatzot, while the second leaf reads: Arvit VeHaggadah, and on leaf [25]: Haggadah. On the Hebrew press in Corfu, see: Habermann, Dfusai Corfu (in Pirkei Toldot Madpisim Ivri’im). The rare Haggadah before us is listed there as no. 2. Otzar HaHaggadot 1490; Ginzey Yisrael – Mahleman Collection 351. 52 leaves. 19 cm. Good–very good condition. Minor tears without loss. New binding.
