First and rare edition. Printed together with the text of Shulchan Aruch, Yoreh De’ah, Simanim 1–60. This work was reprinted several times; the present copy is the first edition, printed during the author’s lifetime. The author lived in Nikopol and ascended to Jerusalem in 1591 via Egypt. In Jerusalem he signed a ruling of Rabbi Yosef ibn Lev (the Mahari ibn Lev) and served as a shochet and bodek. A rare book. 68 leaves. 13.5 cm. Moderate–good condition. Aging stains. Minor worming. Some reinforced with paper strips.
