Venice, 1545 - Sefer Rosh Emunah, presenting the roots and foundations of faith, authored by “the prince and great man in Israel, Don Yitzchak Abarbanel.” Venice, printed by Justinián, 1545. The renowned work of the Abarbanel, comprising 24 chapters on the fundamentals of faith and Jewish philosophy. The first edition was printed in Constantinople in 1506, about forty years earlier; the present edition is the second edition. Following the title page appears “Poems composed by the sage Rabbi Yehuda Abarbanel, son of the author.” Habermann, The Printer Cornelio Adelkind, no. 17. 34 leaves. 18 cm. Very good condition.
