Sha’ar HaGilgulim – The Copy of the Rebbe of Toldot Aharon. - Sha’ar HaGilgulim by Rabbi Chaim Vital, as received from his teacher the Arizal. Part II. Przemyśl, 1875. On the title page: “And this part has not until now been printed, having been preserved only in manuscript in the house of the renowned and holy Gaon R. Shlomo HaKohen, Av Beit Din of Radomsko.” With the approbation of Rabbi Chaim Halberstam, the “Divrei Chaim” of Sanz, and with the introduction of the publisher, Rebbe Tzvi Meir of Radomsko. On the title page appears the holy autograph of Rebbe Avraham Yitzchak Kahn of Toldot Aharon. Rebbe Avraham Yitzchak Kahn [1914–1997], founder of the Toldot Aharon dynasty, was renowned for his sanctity, asceticism, and spiritual vision. A disciple of the Satmar Rebbe, R. Yoel Teitelbaum, he was drawn close to the holy circle of his father-in-law, Rebbe Aharon Rata (“Reb Areleh”). After R. Aharon’s passing, most of the Hasidim chose R. Avraham Yitzchak as his successor. Under his leadership the dynasty flourished, with new centers established in Beit Shemesh and New York.
