Two parts. Jerusalem, 1876. First edition. Rabbi Yaakov Shaul Elyashar (1817–1906), known by the title Yisa Berakha, was born in Safed. Orphaned as a child, he grew up in Jerusalem. In 1853 he was ordained as a dayan. In 1869 he began serving as Av Beit Din of Jerusalem. After the passing of Rabbi Pinziyel, he was crowned in 1893 as Rishon LeTzion. He authored many works, each titled with acronyms of his name Eish (א״י״ש): Simcha LaEish, Ma’aseh Eish, Derech Eish, Divrei Eish, Olat Eish, She’al HaEish, Kavod LaEish, and Pnei Eish.
