Unknown lamentation on the passing of the kabbalist Rabbi Yitzchak son of Rabbi Yaakov Abuhatzeira (buried in Tuelal), 1912 - Lamentation on the passing of the kabbalist Rabbi Yitzchak Abuhatzeira, buried in Tuelal. Begins: “For this shattering all hands grew weak, at the news that came every heart melted and our eyes streamed with tears… wrath went forth and came to Tafilalt(!), it took the delight of our eyes, the cornerstone, the lamp of Israel and its sanctified one, crowned with the diadem of his God, taken up in a storm, the Gaon, the righteous one, our master Rabbi Yitzchak Abuhatzeira…” Rabbi Yitzchak was the youngest son of Rabbi Yaakov Abuhatzeira. He was born in 1860 in Rissani. Already in his youth he studied the hidden wisdom, and at the age of 23 he began to teach students in Kabbalah. He became known as a righteous and holy man and a worker of wonders. In 1912, while on a fundraising mission for his yeshiva, he was shot by bandits near the city of Tuelal, where he was buried.
