”Biblical Letter” from Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak HaKohen Kook to Rabbis of the Colonies in the Land of Israel - Lengthy historic letter with a biblical feel about the exaltedness of observance of Land-of-Israel-dependent-mitzvahs. The letter was sent to the rabbis of the colonies in the Land of Israel by the first chief rabbi of the Land of Israel, the gaon Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak HaKohen Kook. Jerusalem, Shevat, 1932. This letter was printed in Iggerot HaRa'aya”h  [Vol IV, p. 494] and due to its importance, it was also included in many sefarim  and journals. This constitutive letter was written in the period of the return of the Jewish people to its Land after 2000 years of exile, and addressed to rabbis of the colonies and the ritual slaughterers in the Land of Israel. In it, Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak HaKohen Kook dictates his approach to the importance of observance of Land-of-Israel-dependent-mitzvahs, ”because it is as if, Heaven forbid, we have forgotten Hashem's word as it applies to the sanctity of our beloved Land, and all that is involved in these mitzvahs, which are a foundation of the love and honor that establish the eternal love among the entire Jewish people across the generations.” Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak HaKohen Kook continues, detailing for the rabbis the mitzvahs, as they must prevent a disaster: ”The prohibition of eating tevel  and of selling it without it being rectified with separating terumahs and ma'asers , how to observe orlah  for tree fruits, and the prohibitions of kilayim  of seeds.” [2] leaf, 26 cm.
