In the introduction to the Shabbat Kodesh section appear Torah insights from Chassidic and Kabbalistic works, including Siddur Shabbat of the holy Rabbi of Czernowitz, Likutei Yekarim, Keter Shem Tov, Panim Yafot, and others. Throughout the siddur appear hundreds of handwritten annotations by an unidentified writer. Some notes cite the Yaavetz, the Vilna Gaon, and others, while some deal with issues of text variants and halacha (often noting the Nusach Sefard at that point). In many places there are underlines, marks, and erasures, perhaps in preparation for editing a new edition of the siddur.
