Rare Poster of the Old “Bais Yaakov” – Jerusalem, 1934. - Printed poster announcing the admission times for students to the old Bais Yaakov schools in Jerusalem. The Bais Yaakov network had two branches at the time: in the Old City and in Me’ah She’arim. By 1936, approximately 300 girls were enrolled. The institution was supported by Rebbetzin Sonnenfeld (wife of Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld) and Rebbetzin Dushinsky (wife of Rabbi Yosef Tzvi Dushinsky, Gaavad of the Eidah HaChareidis), and was officially under the auspices of Agudath Israel.
