H. Rosenthal. New York, 1901–1902.  A complete set. In the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book, only the first year is recorded. These issues are exceedingly rare and are filled with historically important material concerning the development of Jewish life in America. Notable Contributors Among the writers are Nechemiah Shmuel Leibowitz, Yehuda David Eisenstein (Ba’al HaMasaot), Michael Levi Rodkinson, SheZach”A, Yaakov Reifmann, Rabbi Dov Ber Abramowitz (one of the leading rabbis in the U.S.), and many others. In addition to rich documentation of American Jewry, there are fascinating articles, such as: An inquiry into the authenticity of the Shelah’s glosses on the Zohar. The founding of a Zionist branch in Tehran, Persia (!). A series of essays on rabbinic approbations to Hebrew printed books in earlier centuries. Extremely rare: aside from one other incomplete copy, it has never appeared at auction.
