Due to their rarity, five of the present booklets are also unrecorded in the Bibliographic Project. Between the lines are interwoven fascinating historical episodes, such as the expenses of bringing R. Abraham Isaac Kook from London to Eretz Israel, publications issued for the youth of the Old Yishuv concerning Ottoman military laws, the sending of prayer books and High Holiday machzorim to the Jewish Legion, and other remarkable reports from Jerusalem.
