The work Torat Chesed, authored by Rabbi Chasdai HaKohen Peraḥia, a disciple of the renowned Rabbi Chaim Shabbetai (Maharchash) and one of the distinguished sages of Salonika in the early 18th century. This important collection of responsa reflects the vibrant halachic scholarship and rabbinic life of the Salonika community — then one of the major centers of Torah learning in the Greek diaspora. Printed in Salonika, 1723, by the partners Avraham ben Rabbi David Nachman and Yom Tov Canfilyash. Only edition, including the index leaves which are lacking in several known copies.
