At the beginning of the book appears a very rare twelve-word dedication, handwritten and signed by his son and successor, the Rebbe Rabbi Yaakov Aryeh Alter of Ger shlita, one of the greatest Hasidic leaders of our generation and among the most prominent figures in the Haredi world for decades. The uniqueness of this copy is extraordinary, as the present Rebbe of Ger has for many years refrained from signing documents or dedications personally, and all official letters and blessings issued in his name today are signed by his secretaries or close attendants. His personal signature, therefore, as seen here, is considered among the rarest known examples in private hands. A rare and sacred Hasidic artifact – a living link between two holy generations of the famed Ger dynasty: father and son. 176 pages, 28 cm. Very good condition.
