Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund, the holy gaon and Av Beit Din of Jerusalem, was the grandson of the holy Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Freund, who served as rabbi and admor in Unterdrauburg and Nasod (son-in-law of Rabbi Mordechai Yehuda Löw, Av Beit Din of Unterdrauburg). He served as rabbi and head of a yeshiva in Hunyad, Hungary, and after immigrating to the Land of Israel served as rabbi of the Beit Yisrael neighborhood, head of the Yitav Lev Yeshiva, Av Beit Din of the Eidah HaChareidis in Jerusalem, and later as Gaavad of the Eidah HaChareidis. He was renowned for his great righteousness and saintly conduct, and passed away in [1996]. Overall condition: good.
