Printed by Rabbi Solomon Yarish Rapoport - Likkuṭim Yekarim — precious selections from four eminent Hasidic masters: Rabbi Israel Baal Shem Tov; secondly, his disciple Rabbi Dov Ber of Mezeritch; thirdly, Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Premishlan, who traveled to the Land of Israel; and fourthly, the holy Rabbi Yechiel Michel of Zloczow. Lemberg, printed by Rabbi Judah Solomon Yarish Rapoport, 1792. First edition. The editor’s name is not stated; some identify him as Rabbi Meshullam Feivish of Zabriz, who was a disciple of the Maggid of Mezeritch, Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Premishlan, and the Maggid of Zloczow, and who transmitted teachings of his masters. Two letters by him (printed anonymously) appear in this book, and were printed a hundred years later, with his name, in Yosher Divrei Emet. Printed at the press of the righteous Rabbi Solomon Yarish Rapoport; great virtues were traditionally ascribed to this press. Four years earlier, No‘am Elimelekh was printed there. On the title page, there is an artfully restored tear, affecting only a small portion of the decorative frame. Minor signs of damage to the text. Some of the headings are slightly trimmed. Age-related stains. Bound in a new leather binding.
