In his biblical commentaries, the Ralbag frequently expounds the teaching and the practical or philosophical “benefit” derived from each verse and passage. The compiler was most likely Rabbi Jacob Merkeria (Marcarea), a physician and scholar among the sages of Italy, who also authored the introduction to this book. [40], 27 leaves. 18.5 cm.
