Tikkun Soferim Ha-Yesharim. London, 1787–1788. Five volumes with original leather bindings - Tikkun Soferim Ha-Yesharim — Vavei Ha-Amudim. The Five Books of the Torah, carefully proofread, with the glosses Or Torah, Penaḥ Raza, and Shomer Emunim, and with Vavei Ha-Amudim indications for the writing of a Torah scroll. London, 1787–1788. Five volumes. A fine set, in leather bindings. Each volume has an engraved title page (copper engraving): Tikkun Soferim with Vavei Amudim, signed by the artist Solomon Polack*. For the Haftarot there are separate title pages: Order of the Haftarot according to the customs of the Sephardic and Ashkenazic communities. In the volumes Exodus and Deuteronomy, the Ten Commandments are printed at the end of the books both in the upper cantillation and the lower cantillation. The Song at the Sea is printed also in the brick-upon-brick layout, and the Song of Ha’azinu is likewise printed in the layout as written in a Torah scroll. A handsome edition, printed on fine paper.
