Silvered plaque, etched, mounted on a wooden base. Bezalel, Jerusalem, 1910s. - A work characteristic of the Bezalel boutique workshop, established in 1912. Description: At the center of the plaque are two Jews in traditional Jerusalem attire, exchanging mishloach manot. At the bottom appears the inscription: “Mishloach Manot Ish Lere’ehu, Bezalel Jerusalem.” In the background, buildings of the city are depicted. The work combines repoussé techniques with stencil-assisted etching. Dimensions: Diameter of the plaque: 13.5 cm; diameter of the wooden base: 20 cm; thickness of the wood: 2.5 cm.
