Collection of Rabbinic Documents from Morocco — Rabbinical Court Rulings, Legal Documents, and Letters Bearing the Signatures of Moroccan Rabbis. 20th Century - An important and diverse collection of approximately fifteen rabbinic documents, comprising court rulings, legal instruments, and letters written and signed by Moroccan rabbis during the twentieth century. Among the signatories are prominent rabbis and rabbinical judges from various Moroccan communities, including Rabbi Avraham Attia, Rabbi Yaakov Shitrit, Rabbi Machlouf Sharvit, Rabbi Yitzchak Adahan, Rabbi Moshe Attia, Rabbi Saadia Margi, Rabbi Machlouf Turgeman, Rabbi Shlomo Sasson, Rabbi Yosef Halevi Ibn Yuli, and others. These documents reflect the activities of rabbinical courts and communal rabbinic leadership in Morocco across a variety of fields, including monetary law, matters of personal status, rabbinical certifications, and both public and private correspondence.
