SÜDMILCH EISKREM - Condition (2+) | Tin sign, GER 1950s, 51 x 74 cm, Milk was in short supply in the early post-war years, and it was only after enough milk was finally being produced again in the early 1950s to meet consumer demand that dairy products were advertised again. This piece by Württembergische Milchverwertungs AG is considered one of the first advertising media of that time. It skillfully advertised the ice cream products of the newly created Südmilch brand.
