SCHÜTZT DIE BERGE - Condition (1++) | Porcelain sign / enamel sign, stenciled, GER 2023, 40 x 60 cm, signed: Hübscher. Certainly the youngest sign that we have ever offered for auction - and yet it has its justification due to its authenticity and history: It was designed to draw attention to the protection of nature in mountain areas. Only 8 pieces were produced in total (here 8/8), four of which were placed in highly frequented hiking areas in the Alps and the Himalayas. The peak depicted is actually modeled on Mount Everest (Quomolangma). Still with the artist's handwritten signature on the reverse. | We do only sell old original pieces - no reproductions or fakes.
