CIGARETTES GITANES (R/3-) - Condition (R/3-) | Enamel sign, stenciled and lithographed, F around 1930, 56 x 82 cm, L'Emaillo Gravure, Paris, Publi. Havas, with her Asian charm, this beauty once advertised Gitanes cigarettes in the Paris Metro. The sign was produced in only a very small number and the size was adapted exactly to the advertising space available there. Today, fewer than a handful of copies are known to exist, all of them with damage from the passage of time. These have been well restored, although the damage is visible (as usual, we have attached a drawing for you). The gloss and colors are very well preserved, with minimal signs of aging. | We do only sell originals, no replicas or fakes.
