BONA MARGARINE (1) | VERY GOOD CONDITION - Condition (1) | Enamel sign, stenciled and lithographed, DEN 1929, 58 x 118 cm, Johs. Thejil, København, based on a design by Sven Brasch (Danish poster artist, 1886-1970), who abstracted Hansel and Gretel from the Brothers Grimm fairy tale of the same name in the Bauhaus style, creating a Danish advertising icon. The often faded red pigments are still preserved here in a condition that we have never seen before – a masterpiece that left us speechless. The surface has a dreamlike gloss and only a few minor scratches. Whether you are a graphic design enthusiast or not, the size alone gives this dazzling enamel sign a special atmosphere. | We do only sell originals, no replicas or fakes.
