MASSEY - HARRIS | EMAILSCHILD | ZUSTAND (R/3) - Condition (R/3) | Enamel sign, convex, finely lithographed and colored by hand, CAN around 1910, 52 x 43 cm, powered by horse-drawn machinery, the mower glided just above the edge of the lawn in its day - the rollers and ball bearings on both sides of the machine, which kept it perfectly aligned, were key features. A fine, early, and exceedingly picturesque advertisement from the agricultural machinery manufacturer now known worldwide as Massey Ferguson, of which we are unaware of any other example. This exceptionally heavy piece is in very fine visual condition, minor restorations were mostly carried out on the white border - the motif, colored by hand by a master, was barely damaged, only a small area around the hand holding the reins and a few elements of the motif were restored. | We do only sell originals, no replicas or fakes. | Worldwide shipping possible for most items - wooden boxes available.
