Beautiful Letter from the Gaon Rabbi Akiva Blau of Krasna. A long letter of novella on halachos of yom tov, by the Gaon Rabbi Akiva Blau, one of the outstanding talmidei chachamim of Crasna. Rabbi Akiva Blau was the son of Rabbi Baruch and the son-in-law of Rabbi Aharon Tzvi Fried of Alsovalko. Rabbi Akiva was an outstanding talmid chacham and a highly respected member of the Crasna community. He corresponded with dozens of the great Torah sages of his generation, exchanging novellae and responsa. His name is mentioned in dozens of pre-Holocaust responsa, delving into halacha and Torah ideas. He was murdered by the Nazis in 1944. 26x20.5 – On letterhead of Aaron Fried
