A very touching Letter from Rabbi Binyamin Zev Yaakovsohn, right after the Holocaust - Stockholm 1946 . The letter which bears the stamp of the ”Vaad Hahzalah Emergency Committee Scandinavian Section, Stockholm”, is dated 26th of Tishrei 1946. In his letter Rabbi Jacobsohn relates to the Camp Beis Yaakov under his wife's supervision and the extraordinary actions of his wife and him to save, shelter and support physically and morally these poor miserable souls.. Towards the end of his letter he writes: ”In our Camp are all Six Greenzweig Girls, daughters of the Lipsah Rav Zt”l. Pinchas Rubin Admor of Dolina New York Harav Moshe Greenszweig Hy”d, Av Beis Din of Lifscha, was the son of Harav Asher Zelig Greenszweig, Av Beis Din of Dala and author of Beis Asher. Harav Moshe was a disciple of the Kedushas Yom Tov and led his congregation and yeshivah in the customs of the distinguished Rabbanim of Sighet. Several years before the onset of World War II, Harav Greenszweig relocated to Chust. There he founded his acclaimed yeshivah which swiftly transformed into a popular Torah center for Sighet and Satmar chassidim in Chust. He gave his life al kiddush Hashem in the Holocuast. Rabbi Binyomin Zev Yakovsohn [Wolf. S. Jacobson]  Was an active leader of Agudat Yisrael in Germany and in Switzerland. He served as rabbi in various communities, among them in Copenhagen, Denmark, until 1943. When the Germans seized Denmark during WWII, he escaped to Sweden and was active there in Vaad Hatzalah (Rescue Committee) in Stockholm. In 1961 he visited the United States.
