Letter from the Tzaddik and Gaon Rabbi Yosef Broide, Av Beis Din of Tiva, 1916 The Gaon Rabbi Yosef Broide was the son of Rabbi Mordechai, the Av Beis Din of Tiva. In the response letter (published in the responsa of the Maharitz), the rabbi of Galánta addresses Rabbi Broida with many titles of respect, including ”Tzaddik Yesod Olam” (foundation of the world).
