Nice Letter from Rabbi Yosef Levy, Av Beis Din of Kiralyhaza. 1934 Rabbi Yosef Levy (1870-1935) was a student of Rabbi Caleb Feivel Shlesinger, the Shevet Sofer, and the Gaon Rabbi Eliyahu Klein, the Av Beis Din of Halmeu, who became Rabbi Yosef’s father-in-law. At his father-in-law’s recommendation, Rabbi Yosef accepted a position as rabbi of Kiralyhaza (Korolevo), where he founded a yeshiva and strengthened Torah learning. Some of his Torah novellae were published in Divre Yosef. One of his sons-in-law was Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum (a grandson of the Sassov and Uhely dynasty), who succeeded him in Kiralyhaza and afterward in Boro Park, USA. 30x22.5 cm. Good Condition.
