Letter from Rabbi Baruch Konstadt, founder of Kol Torah Yeshiva. Fulda 1935 Letter of recommendation for his student, Elchanan Blumenthal, who wants to publish a booklet of articles on the prestige of Torah and the necessity of the yeshivas… Rabbi Boruch Kunstadt (1885-1967) was one of the founders and head rabbis of Kol Torah yeshiva in Jerusalem. He was a student of the Shevet Sofer and was ordained by him. At age 22 Rabbi Baruch was appointed rabbi and dayan in Fulda. During the Holocaust he was sent to Buchenwald with his son Yonah, and vowed that if they survived he would make Aliyah and found a yeshiva in Eretz Yisrael. He moved to Eretz Yisrael with his family and met Rabbi Yechiel Michel Shlesinger in Jerusalem, where together they founded Kol Torah for the surviving students from German yeshivas. 22.5x14 cm.
